Let's get to know each other.
I started Artio Strategies with a simple mission: to do the work I love alongside clients I enjoy working with.
For over 20 years, I’ve led brand, marketing, and community engagement for high-profile brands, global corporations, and mission-driven organizations. I bring a unique perspective shaped by experience as a senior in-house leader and as a trusted external consultant.
Prior to opening Artio Strategies, I served as the head of marketing for Amazon’s global social impact/CSR function, and led brand strategy for the company’s worldwide communications team. Before that, I served as the Pacific Northwest Regional Marketing Director at Lyft, and led Starbucks’ innovative local marketing and partnerships program. I started my career on the agency side, leading corporate communications for Microsoft and communications campaigns for mission-driven organizations like the Seattle Foundation, Mercy Corps, and Pike Place Market.
Along the way, I’ve also earned a reputation as a forward-thinking sponsorship strategist, with deep experience in the sports, music, and cultural space.
No matter the client or sector, my focus remains the same: helping brands show up with authenticity and driving measurable impact.

What is Artio?
Good question! The name “Artio” is loosely inspired by my late father, Art Combs, as well as the mythical bear goddess that symbolizes transformation. I thought it was fitting to name my business after such symbols of strength, kindness, and ingenuity, hence Artio Strategies was born.
